Welcome to the 2009 Blackhawk CAM/ UW Honduras blog. We are leaving for Honduras Monday early morning January 5th and will be there until the 18th. It will be a great adventure and hopefully through this blog you can join us and get a taste of what we will be experiencing. We are hopeful that God will be doing great things in our lives and we hope that we can be a blessing to those we meet.
Team members: Matt Metzger, Theresa Filarsky, Lindsay Leslie, Megan Kleber, Laura Krumenauer, Kara Longenecker, Lance Millar, Kelsey Moss, Andrew O'Connor, Nathan Sime, Carolyn Sredl, Curt Staats, Anne Rodgers----and our guests 10 UW students and and 2 professors, including Sam Dennis, professor of Landscape architecture at UW.
We will be building a playground in Orica, Honduras and we will be designing parks and playgrounds in Siguatepeque, Honduras---more about that later!

I'm so excited about what you guys are all doing. I am praying for you now and hope that you are able to bring great joy and shalom to the people in Siguatepeque. Have fun and be safe. Tell Metzger that we are keeping it nice and cold for him in Wisconsin. He's been in the sun too long.
